From the beginning of July we have been allowed to resume Church Services with appropriate safeguards. We have started in a limited way with one service each week alternately in the two churches, and made sure everyone is as safe as possible.
Both churches have been thoroughly cleaned and as they will be not be used for 72 hours before or after each service, there is no need for deep cleaning. (Unless there is a funeral, in which case only a small area of the church will be used and appropriate cleaning will be carried out.)
Hand sanitiser is used as people come into and leave church, and people sit 2 metres apart unless they are members of the same household.
People receive only the bread at Communion (so there is no sharing of the cup of wine), and it is administered to people in the pews so no-one needs to move around during the service
