On Tuesday 13th August the Parish Council held the opening ceremony for the new basketball hoop and the kickwall goal on the playing field. Many thanks to those of you who came along to share in this and to the two children who were chosen to cut the ribbons on the equipment – they did a great job. Luckily there was plenty of ice cream so both younger and older people were able to have some!
We would like to thank the previous Parish Council who started the plans for this that we have been able to bring to fruition.
