Women’s Institute

Sadly the WI group disbanded in 2021, having celebrated its centenary in 2018, not with the same ladies of course!

Our meetings take place the first Wednesday of every month, in Great Waldingfield hall. 

After our meetings we usually have a speaker or arrange some sort of entertainment for the members. Always followed by delicious refreshment made by the ladies. We have quite a few ‘do’s through the year, soup and natters, cake stalls and bring and buy sales.

We also lunch out and have an annual outing.

Our chairman was Mary Jackson who has been connected to the W.I. since she was fourteen.
