October Village Walk – Sunday 11th

October Walk. Sunday October 11th. Meet 2.30pm at Milden church, IP7 7AG

Take the B 1115 towards Monks Eleigh and turn right to Milden, then turn left just before the phone box and bus shelter. Then 1km on the left.
A walk around one of our neighbouring villages. Approx 2 hours/5 miles, much of it on lovely lanes with good views and hardly any traffic. Milden church itself is quite isolated and quaint. Other interesting buildings and a tea room along the way.

The monthly walks programme resumed last month after a summer holiday break. six of us did the old favourite walk via Chilton church and Chilton Hall. We were concerned to find some public footpaths leading off this circuit were blocked and so we have reported this. The yellow wild flowers of toadflax were much in evidence along the way.
