The first stage of the campaign against speeding in Great Waldingfield started on Wednesday when gates were put up at the four main entrances to our village. (Three of these are in Chilton so will be coming later.) Although they are unlikely to reduce speeding on their own, they will let drivers know that they are entering a built up area and need to be aware of pedestrians, children and animals.
The next step is for the new Speedwatch group to do their training and get out onto the roads! If you would like to be part of the Speedwatch team, please email Mike on gtwaldingfieldnp@aol.com.
